This is the first public release of the Henderson-Hasselbalch Calculator, a web-based tool that applies the classic acid-base equation to support clinical understanding and education. Designed for ease of use in both classroom and clinical revision contexts, the tool calculates missing values (pH, HCO₃⁻, or pCO₂) and identifies possible mixed acid-base disorders using patient input values.
Calculate pH, bicarbonate, or pCO₂ from two known values
"Mixed disorder" mode compares measured and calculated pH
Includes: - Step-by-step calculation - Educational quiz prompt - Clinical interpretation aid
Fully browser-based, no install needed
Mobile-friendly and accessible layout
Useful for:
Biomedical science education
Medical and health science education
Clinical revision
Physiology instruction in acid-base balance
